ALPS Mountaineering Explorer 6-Person Tent

The perfect tent for durability and features is the Explorer 6 by Sherper's, designed for six people. It includes excellent features and accessories such as superior ventilation with half mesh walls, weatherproof fly buckles, mesh storage pockets, gear loft, 7075 aluminum stakes, guy ropes, and a compact compression sack. The polyester walls and fly are coated with 1500mm to withstand the elements, while the poly oxford floor provides exceptional durability at almost double the weight of a normal nylon floor. The total packed weight of the tent is only 14lbs, making it easy to transport.

The tent's design features free-standing 2-pole construction with 7000 series aluminum poles that assemble easily with pole clips snapping over them quickly. The 75D 185T polyester fly with 1500mm coating resists UV damage and stays taut, while the 210D poly oxford floor with 1500mm coating ensures ultimate durability. Factory sealed fly and floor seams on the bathtub floor offer the best weather protection.

With two doors equipped with extra large #10 zippers and two vestibules extending 39" from each side of the tent, there is plenty of space for storage and easy access. The base size of the tent is 10' x 10', with a center height of 6'. The total weight is 14 lbs, and the packed size is 8" x 25". Additionally, the tent comes with a limited lifetime warranty to protect against any material or workmanship defects.
