ALPS Mountaineering Meramac 6-Person Tent

Our Meramac series tents feature a free-standing design with shock corded fiberglass poles and aluminum ferrules. The use of aluminum ferrules ensures that the poles are securely connected and will never rust. To provide a sturdy and strong structure, our fiberglass poles are one size larger than usual. The lightweight yet durable polyester fabrics we use allow the tent to "breathe" under the urethane coated fly.

For excellent rain protection, the fly includes a pole at the top, creating an awning over each door. Unlike some other tents, our fly is full length on the sides for better weather protection. We go the extra mile by sealing the seams on both the floor and fly for maximum water repellency. Additionally, our tents include two doors for easy entry and exit, eliminating the need to climb over others. The second door also provides extra ventilation in hot, muggy weather.

We prioritize durability by using #8 zippers on our doors and including mesh storage pockets and a gear loft to help keep your gear organized. For those looking for even more durability, our Meramac Outfitter Series offers a heavier oxford floor and larger #10 zippers as an alternative option.
